This blog covers the circumnavigation of the Yacht Kurukulla. After 7 years (2016 - 2023) and 34000 miles she is now back to the Mediterranean, laid up ashore, awaiting the start of the 2024 cruising season.

Preparations for departure
At last the day to leave the shores of the UK approaches. After a winter of building work, reconfiguring the new flat in Hove, it is time to load the car and set off for the south of Italy and the NavalBalsamo Boatyard at Brindisi where Kurukulla has been stored ashore for the past winter. Hopefully within days of arrival she will be back in the water and ready for a second summer in Croatian waters. Oh for reliable sun and the freedom to sail the open seas. The plan is to be in Brindisi by Friday 4 June and away from there by 11 June. Time will tell!
